That is why, as an investor performs due diligence,
you look beyond the rhetoric and study the actual decisions
that a company makes and how those decisions impact upon
the shareholders. Anyone who follows this simple approach
will seldom go wrong, with the lone exception being if a
company or its management intentionally lies to investors
by concealing or distorting information.
