Squirt, a thought about your post

You ask if the motors will be strong enough to control the vehicle during the accent from low altitude to final positioning.

Think about it a bit. The motors are believed to be capable of keeping the vehicle in position at 65,000 feet "where the air is so thin". The motors will have to have tremendous force/power/thrust at altitude just because the air is so thin.

If that is the situation then conversely the motors should have more than enough force/power/thrust in the "heavier" air at lower altitudes.
