First I am not telling you to do anything, I am a bit confused by the statement you said...

"So for him to tell others to put what they can afford in the stock at the lower prices is a little bit disingenuous".

maybe you meant can't afford?

still i have not directed any body to do anything I have only said what i have done, and further more i am not flipping to buy more stock i am simply buying it when it gets cheap.

So I do not know how you genuinely use the word disingenuous in your statement.

Wait a minute i am confusing myself, besides in investing it is all relative if you have a llittle you make a little if you have more you can make or loose more.

I took a 19 year old kid and he had $1000.00 to invest and we worked him up to $84,000 and then I put him in qasp at a .0157 ave, he does not have any more money to ave down, does he think i am a bad guy, no. He realizes even at his young age that those were cheap shares at the time and he is adult about it. Do i wish i could have gotten him a .005 ave. ? Sure you bet but he only calls me to find out whats going on in the big picture.

If in the end something goes terribly wrong and he looses he has lost $1000.00 and has had a very good chance at the big time. He has a little over 5m shares and he knows he has a better than 80% chance of becoming a millionaire here at 19. Now think that will change his life? you bet.

So please explain your intent of your post, I will be interested in your reply.
