Who are Ken Stead’s connections? Let’s start from the beginning. This is the company who controls his old employer ((The Iron Ore Company of Canada (OC))). Owned by Rio Tinto (58.7%), Mitsubishi Corporation (26.2%), and the Labrador Iron Ore Royalty Income Fund (15.1%), IOC operates within the Rio Tinto Iron Ore group and maintains its head office in Montreal, Quebec.

"Mr. Stead worked directly in the mining industry from the early to late 70's, where he first started with the Iron Ore Company Of Canada and worked for Noranda at their Nanasivik mine in Stratacona Sound, northern Baffin Island."

Here is where I found that information:

If Rusty turns out to be what Ken hopes it will be do you think the folks whom he used to work with would be interested? I for one sure do!
If it is what we hope it is, it would probably turn this area into a whole brand-new exploration play for major companies because these deposits are kind of rare in that they host nearly all the major minerals. They have base metals, gold, silver and uranium along with rare-earth minerals. If it turns out to be an economical deposit, one can imagine how other companies will take interest in the whole region looking for more of these deposits.
