First I'm not trying to split hairs here..just trying to learn more about what exactly DVIS is. The point is that DVIS is billed as off the shelf component tied together with new revolutionary software. Some say DVIS algorithm is 1000 faster than before etc etc. So we try to determine what exactly the innovation is...we learn (from your posts)that is seems to be a hybrid of DSP technology along with how Deans software interprets all of this. I didn't think Dean code rewrites Fast Fourier Transforms into something new and undiscovered...again maybe a clever adaptation by eliminating added processing cycles and shuffling the images but the reconstruction routines are basically what they are correct?
