As I told you , this is not simple DSP of backprojection sample. The look ahead contouring in is very tricky.
The current 3d images (which is shown to viewer) becomes base map ...Now DVIS S/W applies some kind of algorithm (not sure how ..) to store this base map for future use without excessive memory writes...When DVIS acquires new sample ..only updated portion of base maps gets update ...and new image becomes base map ...

But how exactly this is done ...I have no idea ..is there any role of Hardware ..ie the way perpendicular X ray source ..spits the cone beam X ray ..at what angel ..may be

I don't have any problem Dean's not revealing this secret ..I would expect any good CEO to do that ...
