As a heads up, IDCC goes on to explain the technology and the license that is covered by the arbitration. All of the projections previously made by IDCC involved just the items stated in the 8k. It may be that IDCC will settle for less than the projections in order to get all flavors of 3g put to bed with the largest OEM in the world and a covenant not to challenge accompanied with a dismissal of the 2 current lawsuits.

This would be Nok's chance to turn the tables on Ericy/SNE. It could be drawn up in such a fashion as to allow Nok a discounted rate for 2g so long as it is licensed and paying for 3g. Thus, if Ericy/SNE wants the same deal, they must license and pay for 3g. It would also put Samsung under the gun to step up to the 3g plate. If they do not, then they have to pay the full non-discounted Nok rate for 2g.
