EXDIMER- as someone that "lost millions" you see nothing wrong that happened to WaMu??? Wow, I wish I had either your A. mindframe or B. bankroll. If I would have lost "millions" I would gamble at least a couple a grand to recoup.

I don't see how you can believe the mistakes made by these agencies were part of a plot. The mistakes were reactions to the extreme financial crisis caused by the housing bubble that took decades to gestate with the help of low interest rates, poor credit underwriting, political support for progressive housing goals, and public greed and poor judgement. There is plenty of blame to spread

As someone who lost millions in the WAMU disaster, I follow this board with interest. I have learned a lot from some of the posts, and from listening in to the omnibus hearings. Based on what i have read and heard, i do not expect common shareholders will receive any meaningful financial reward. I know this will set off more emotional rants, but I just don't see any facts to support all of the wild speculative conspiracy theories expressed here.
