I think you're spot on in terms of the element of the time line, and in thinking about the structure of the motivations relative to it.
If I were to focus ONLY on that element... I'd have to admit that I think the likelihood of a deal happening FAST is VASTLY HIGHER... than the probability of one that proceeds only slowly and then takes a lot of time to develop.
We have no idea how long they might have been talking, already, before figuring out they were probably close enough to agreement in common interest that they found it useful to file what they have with the court.
Another wild card or two possible in not knowing "what else" CLYW might have hidden up their sleeves for a while now... given there may be other things happening, too, where they'd not have any need to file documents with the court.
I think it is HIGHLY improbable that CLYW won't be in a VASTLY better position before the 15th of Nov... and, I still think it is HIGHLY improbable that CLYW won't meet them on the court house steps then, and get everything they want, or obtain the same or a better result from the events that follow given what is set to begin on Nov 15....
The range of what is possible "inside the box" makes all of that seem extremely likely... while the range of what is possible "outside the box" seems it is an still unbounded set of possibilities we know nothing about.
