I like you, think a settlement agreement would likely take place within a few weeks. Most definitely before 15 Nov. The reason being that Tmob can get an agreement before the state court case, which might muck it up for a while. Calypso's BOD will be busy with the state court case very soon and don't need the distraction of trying to negotiate a deal while going to trial on the Daic case. This is Tmob's best opportunity to get a deal from Calypso because they are the first one in. The first one gets the best deal and then can go on without worry. These deals are routine for a company like Tmob and they probably have boiler plate documents already set up. Calypso and Tmob just have to agree on an amount, fill in the blank and add a few other items. The attorney's review it and within a short time we have a deal. If not we head back to Federal Court and go to the Markman Hearing, which probably won't turn out in Tmob's favor anyway. Also I don't think they want to deal with Daic and with the current stipulation agreement, he won't be a party to any negotiations. With him out of the way the deal becomes less complicated. Next time around we don't know what might have to happen and Tmob might be on the hook for substantially more money. My bet is on Tmob signing up very soon.
