"AmStem Chief Scientific Officer Mr David Stark said, “To our knowledge, this is the first US IRB approved clinical study of a cosmetic product containing extracts from human umbilical cord stem cells. We are pleased to have the approval of an independent IRB validating our efforts to conduct an ethical, statistically validated clinical study of SteMixx that will protect the rights and privacy of women who will participate.

Very few cosmetic companies seek an IRB review because of rigorous Federal regulations on how research should be conducted and qualified. AmStem is committed to being a leader in doing everything at the highest level of integrity in the cosmetics field,” Mr Stark said."

"The study is expected to begin this week at the Scottsdale Institute for Cosmetic Dermatology, Arizona, (USA) and will last approximately two months." --> right on time to market for Christmas season
