Win 98 2nd ed.When a hacker alters my computers settings,I restart in MS-DOS mode and enter scanreg/restore and select a previous date and my settings are restored.Can anyone tell me if this procedure is available with windows XP home ed?I am thinking of buying new dell laptop inspiron 8200 P4 15" $1300 free shipping.It will have XP installed.Unfortunately they dont offer win 2000 Pro.
