That's common procedure nothing to be alarmed about. Fictitious names are used when incorporating a business if I understand correctly and is different from state to state. When it speaks of foreign entity I believe that is referring to being located outside of the state of New York not necessarily the United States. I'm sure I will be corrected If I've misspoke. Most are incorporated in Delaware or Nevada
