I have Ameritrade but here is my opinion since i had account with some of them.

MOST IMPORTANT MAKE SURE THAT THE ONE YOU CHOOSE HAS FLAT RATE FOR ALL STOCK ORDERS INCLUDING OTCBB ORDERS and has all trading tools you will need. Ameritrade is flat $10.99 rate.

Etrade is cream of the crop and has best tools for internet trading however they charge $19.xx for trades. Active traders get cheaper rates. I'm not sure if they charge per share for OTCBB.

Ameritrade has as good tools for trading as etrade except the platform is not as much as customizable as etrade's one but for me $10.99 for all orders including trailing stops is best deal. 30 free trades when you join. Active traders get cheaper rates. http://ameritrade.com/offer/30.html

IF YOU ARE REALLY CHEAP FELLA go with Freetrade, Ameritrade's division with most of tools Ameritrade has. 20 free trades each month. Not sure how they make their money so DO read every small print on the page.

Scottrade has good deal on paper it looks like however i'm not sure what kind of trading tools they have so i can't speak for that one. If you choose Scottrade make sure they have all tools that you need for live up to second trading.

In my opinion I would do research on Freetrade first before you join. Sharebuilder in my opinion is not a good choice unless you trade with budget of $1000 or less. If more then in my opinion i would go with some well established platform.
