fuller,

can anybody answer this its been on my mind for sometime, the Blastomere technique ACTC claims of not Destroying the Embryo is there any reason why other companys or other sciencetist, Universitys etc would not use this or a similar technique to put a end to this mess, it seems like ACTC talks like there the only ones that have this or can do it, why is this? is this technology or technique a patent that ACTC can only use? This all seems if ACTC had this approved we would be be golden

1)This technology has not been accepted by the NIH so any University or other research dependent upon FED dollars would not use. Companies using private funding could pursue but not real sure what if any advantages it presents.

2)Does this process not destroy embryos's 100% of the time? No, according to Lanza's own research papers it is about 85% of the time. So is it really NED(no embryo destruction?)

3)Why has the NIH rebuffed this technology for so long? Here are a few reasons they stated, scroll down to slide 83 info.

4)The recent guideline revision attempt by the NIH to include the NED lines would indicate the above ethical issues may no longer be of concern as they were in the past.

5)ACT has a patent application filed for this process.
