mick, the producing interval is about 5 foot thick and all 5 wells are whithin 300 foot diameter circle (Less than a city block). Now picture this... Think of a whole city block with glass sides 5 foot tall filled with sand. Then imagine filling your sand box with whatever oil that can be held whithin. Remember that this field has been partially to mostly depleted so imagine that somebody came by and pumped as much oil out of your sand box as they could without much effort. They got the easy pickings. The oil you have left is finite. 5 foot by 10 acres is all you have and much of the volume is sand. So you decide the only way you can get the oil out of you big sandbox is to keep pouring ammonia and alcohol on the top middle and pupming out of the corners. That sounds nice except now you have to pay for the soap and pay for something to break the emulsion back into oil again.
Do you really see that much oil in a city block? I am curious, mick. What can sustain any profitable volume of oil for very long on such a small lease? Especially at the production rates you envision.
