rustyjack, because Wave's IP is so deeply integrated with Dell's client side Control Point security platform, I think there would be more strategic value for Wave if Dell were to absorb 3Par's IP and expertise in server side storage and virtualization for cloud computing. In time it should make less of a difference, especially if HP should decide to bundle Wave with their ProtectTools and SED offerings, but if Dell could control 3Par then that would allow them to grow their own secure end-to-end cloud services more rapidly.
