As far as riding their coattails think of the DIME Z LTW. Rosen is attempting to give a debt that is owed and they have collected the money for to JPM as a gift. WMI has collected a portion of the debt but is waiting on a final judgment of an appeal to be paid in full. Because the debt has not been closed out; they are using it as an excuse to gift to JPM moneys that rightfully belong to others. Just because WMI was to pay this debt in WMI stock and declaring the Stock to have no value does not forgive the debt.
This too will need to be litigated before any confirmation of a POR
