The reason its at .0031 is the seller at .0037 sold enough to take out the person bidding for the shares at .0037. Now the ask is .0037 because that seller didn't get a complete fill.

When that happened, the next bidders on Level 2 were at .0031, so naturally the bid went to that.

And yes, we could get whacked to .0031. I don't want to see that, but I doubt it would drop further as there is a solid looking bid there on Level 2
