Summerblaze...Webey answered the question on profit. The second question, how do the MM drive the price down.

First anyone can manipulate the price of a stock, but it is against Federal law for any one to manipulate or try to manipulate the price of a stock by either "an action" or by "a comment". If you would get on this board and push everyone to sell or buy you would be guilty.

MM have a little protection. They just trade stocks. Here is the problem. A large short position was created by the Russel rebalancing. Wave traded 11 mm shares. The MM provided the shares, but they went short, probably naked short. They needed to cover the naked shorts within 3 days, but they can stretch that out. The cheaper they buy the more money they make. What they need is to create fear in the shareholders. What helps to do this? 1. Falling market, 2. Margin players, 3. Stop limits. Remember MM can see things on the market that you cannot see, such as stop losses. They get margin numbers from each other.

Two MM with a 100 shares each can buy and sell back and forth and drive the price down. When it reaches the margin limits, they are called and in 3 days the margin players are done. Remember last week.

Today it looked like persons had set stop losses around 2.05. Drive it down and take them out. Let the stock run up a little and then slam it again. Same story again. Until we get these shorts settled and without a major announcement by Wave, this action will continue on for several more days.

Remember MM have deep pockets and can control the price. You just need to buy a few shares when the price is down and salt them away. If you believe in the technology, then don't worry about the stock price in the near future.
