They don't need AHIP anymore. Hospitals(diagnose & treat), Pharma (R&D), CBAI.OB(Storage) all components to an infrastructure. BCBS doesn't manufacture, treat, or perform research. AHIP is a dying agency and they know it. Writing is on the wall unless they buyout hospitals.

I like our streamline infrastructure because we get paid a rate directly from HCA... no AHIP middleman taking a cut for a paper shuffle.
