Did some digging into penny stock referrals, looking at recommendations from a few months ago and how they fared. A solid 90% lost money, sometimes all but the .001's. Lots were pumped as about to burst, consolidated patterns, uptrending strong, blah-blah.

Just curious. With the odds so bad, is there any newsletter or picker that seems to at least provide decent starting places for research? I'm pretty new to pennies, but I don't mind reading and researching. I looked through a pile of old picks from various places and was left with the overall impression that a person would absolutely lose money taking the advice I researched.

Any clues for the clueless?
