Why would they put out this last PR? Because for one thing they were being bombarded daily with hate mail, threats, and accusations that they had no spokesperson and were a scam. They were being viciously attacked and threatened with class action lawsuits and SEC investigations. And.why.? Because it had been, now brace yourself, AN ENTIRE 2 WEEKS that they had not updated the status of the spokesperson negotiations.

Incredibly, no matter what the company does, they are viciously and relentlessly attacked and threatened by some shareholders. If they put out regular PRs they are attacked for putting out "fluff" PRs. If they don't put out enough PRs, they are attacked for keeping shareholders in the dark.

If this were my company, I would not answer a single email or phone call from shareholders, or put out a single PR until the material event had actually happened or contracts had been signed. I definitely would not give in to the shrill screams of shareholders and give them the timelines and specific dates they continually demand, knowing very well that if the specific dates aren't met, the screaming and accusations will become even louder.

I would know that no matter what I did or said, I would be relentlessly and continuously attacked by some shareholders, and the shareholders on the attack are usually the ones that dominate the public conversation until of course, the business plans eventually unfold and material events happen that moves the share price up. Then the CEO miraculously becomes an applauded hero, and deemed a brilliant businessmen that behind the scenes was doing the right thing all along.

If the share price was at .01 now, 98% of current shareholders would be out, and there would be a entire new crew of "shareholders" in place, screaming at the company because the price wasn't moving up to .02 or .03 fast enough.
