I just thought that you take your preganant wife to the hospital, tell them you want CBAI to store the UCB, pay a fee and then call CBAI when you're ready to tap your stem cell keg. My role as the consumer is complete, CBAI does everything (behind the curtains) in-between taking the sample and giving me back stem cells I can use; prescreening would certainly be one of them. That's all, I thought it was already seemless.
