most small cap biotechs have been raising money any chance they get



Pretty lame to extrapolate from "most small cap biotechs" to Ariad! I'm investing in Ariad because it's a (very) late stage biotech, it is well funded (beautiful strategic use of Rida to finance 534), and because if I wanted to invest in "most" of anything, I'd get into a mutual fund.
