I don't think there's a whole lot they could have said that they didn't say. They want to protect their intellectual property. They can't predict to the day when tweaking will result in a working product. They can't predict what hurdles they'll meet in development. They don't know what their suppliers and partners will do.

As far as taking a long time I for one always expected it. The people that were saying a product will be on the shelves in 2 months at the start of the year were kidding themselves. Same for the ones saying it would reach $1 by the end of the year.

Yes it is very possible we will lose 90% of our investment. It is also possible we will make a lot of money. Bottom line is if you invest in something that sells for 2c a share u can't have the same expectations of safety as someone buying a share for $200. You can't think of it as an investment. It's an expensive lottery ticket with very good chances (by lottery standards).
