I don't hear voices, but I sometimes see things that furtively flit, slide, or otherwise move at the edges of my peripheral vision.

What "za boota" isn't:

anything to do with boots

booty as in loot or freebooter

booty as in rap songs

booting up the CPU

What Zabuta is:

minor character in east European literature

minor character in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" TV series

nickname of a guy in Japan

made-up name for the pseudonym Mfume N'Debele (so I thought), both made up to fool junk mailers who fill my snailmailbox with with unnecessary advertisements who would not be able to follow me when I moved from present locale (which was the plan 3 years ago). Who knew that my next job would be in the same town?

BTW, I see that about half of this board somehow ended up in the jailhouse. What happened?
