TLF - Tandy Leather Factory Reports Q2 2010 Earnings Up 39% Year Over Year

Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. (Nasdaq:TLF) today reported financial results for the second quarter of 2010. Consolidated net income for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 was $1,061,000 compared to consolidated net income of $761,000 for the second quarter of 2009, an increase of 39%. Fully diluted earnings per share for the quarter were $0.10, compared to $0.07 in the second quarter of last year. Total sales for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 were $14.3 million, up 10% from $13.0 million in the second quarter last year.
(I have a lot of TLF in my IRA. I wouldn't recommend short-term trading on this one due to the large bid/ask spreads.)
