FISH2049, I could be wrong, but I don't think IDCC is going for the whole portfolio...IDCC might have bid for only a portion of it (even a portion of it could cost few hundred mill). IMO, IDCC would bring its own LTE portfolio and some money to the table and the other party (or parties) would bring bigger chunk of money and they all share the benefits if they win the bidding. IDCC's portfolio is pretty significant, so, they might only use part of it (again JMHO).
I think next few weeks (while the whole Intel - Infineon - maybe Apple thing unravels) would be interesting.
