Perhaps the company is making room for someone else. I've looked at many of the US listed Chinese AG companies and most have at least one US board member. Maybe it's be related to potential funding. If you were going to loan a company money you might demand a seat on the board. These guys are in a prime position if you look at the results of the pollution census and the future direction of Chinese agriculture.
