Nice post. DRTV will serve as a form of advertising that retailers will be interested in. Remember, the commercial can be easily adjusted to put a retailers logo at the bottom (Lowes, Walgreens, etc.).

So not only can WNBD advertise the product, but they can specifically reference a retailer in the commercial. I remember Eric saying the goal of the DRTV was not just to sell product throught the 1-800 numbers, but to also (and maybe more imporantly) serve as a form of advertisment for those retailers that stocked the product.
