MLF,

I think that your idea of having a constructive shareholder's meeting is excellent. However, due to time and money constraints, it may have to be held on line rather than in some central physical location. I think that the key to sucess is ensuring that discussions are kept both principled and positive (as Hasher says, this doesn't mean that criticism is not allowed: we just need to treat each other with respect).

I sent an e-mail to Lee Balak some time ago suggesting that a shareholder's advisory group be formed to recommend possible new applications for the technology and strategic alliances for the company. We could easily do this as a group rather than as a committee, although a degree of confidentiality may be necessary if we are going to suggest new and possibly patentable uses for Power Tech's products.

If someone (else, as I am far too busy at present with other commitments) would like to co-ordinate a shareholder meeting or an ongoing shareholder-management dialogue (maybe we could elect someone or a few people), we could list a number of areas for discussion. Some of these might be:

Ways of improving management/shareholder communication

Suggestions for improving the webpage design and content

Possible new applications for the technology

Possible useful strategic alliances

Possible new marketing strategies

Suggestions for financing

Lists of speialized shareholder skills that may be of value

to management

Lists of shareholders willing to volunteer time to PWTC

Etc.

Personally I am presently doing gradute work in Conflict Analysis and Management (including mediation) and, if asked, am willing to volunteer a limited amount of time to assist management with negotiations, with management-shareholder relations, etc.
