Nokia sees balanced phone line-up by Q4

HELSINKI, Jan 27 (Reuters) - The world's top mobile phone maker Nokia (NOK1V.HE: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Thursday it aimed to have a well-balanced handset portfolio in 12 months' time.

"When we are sitting here 12 months from today, I think that the fourth quarter portfolio would be something I could say ... is very balanced," Chief Executive Jorma Ollila told a conference call after the firm's fourth-quarter result.

Nokia had a tough 2004, losing market share to rivals due to a patchy phones portfolio and then slashing phone prices to halt and partially reverse the trend.
