He did a lot of things that many people never realized. He didn't broadcast it. I remember one got out that there was little boy crying in a hotel and George saw him and asked him what was wrong. The kid said he and his dad traveled so far to go to the world series and the tickets were sold out. So George put them in the owners box. He paid a lot of kids to go to collage. Started a fund for the Kids of Soldiers that if the soldger is killed so they could go to collage and everything is paid for. There was tons of things and we will never know them all. But he has spent million on kids programs one way or another and did a lot of good with his money to help people.
