Thanks for the FINRA filing reference That was an interesting read
I really wish the phone calls and the posters on here with their great sources would be more detailed with their information and address more specifically how these different requirements are being met.
If you believe what is being claimed then all the paper work is done.. meaning that PETRO has managed to complete all the requirements listed in your post for a proper filing. I hope so bad that PETRO has made that much progress, but I find it hard to believe. The phone calls and the posters with the sources are always so vague that nobody can really be sure. It's almost as if they are intentionally vague to leave room for error or leave the door open to have an explanation for any future delays if things aren't completed by some time in August.
Just thinking out loud here but IF everything is completed and turned in to FINRA then at this point it seems like it would do no harm at all and would actually do lots of good to go ahead and share some of the information that was kept such a secret over the past few months. It would put the minds of certificate holders at ease as well as to improve the company's public standing in general. Information like who the TA is, what verifiable assets the company has, and other financial information. According to the FINRA requirements (if I read it properly) PETRO had to supply all this information to FINRA so it's done now and making this information available to the certificate holders can do no harm. It just doesn't seem right to me to continue to keep all key information a secret right up until FINRA makes a decision some time in August. Is that the normal way a company would behave? I'm asking because I don't have a lot of experience with stock stuff so I do not know.
Maybe I'm assuming too much and there is a good explanation to continue to keep important information like this hidden from the very people for which this company claims to exist. I would love to hear thoughts/opinions about this. Owen has mentioned releasing financial information from 2009 and having an online list of some sort available to all certificate holders once the TA was done. Does anybody know if these things are still going to be done and when?
I get the feeling that PETRO probably isn't done with the paperwork and that vague statements are being put out there to trick people into thinking that they are. And that some time down the road here we'll be seeing lots of postings saying that Owen didn't actually say they were done he just said it was being done, etc. Similar things like that have happened in the past already.
Thanks in advance for any specific information or good opinions that can be provided.
