Oh I never said the Yankees never made mistakes. Everyone does. It is how you deal with them. You can whine and blame the rest of the world for your mistakes or you can take ownership of them and try to do better. Sad what has happened in this country. So many of these companies that make millions and millions that had to be bailed out because people take so much out of the company and put so little back into it. One of my biggest memories of a whining owner was Mr Hicks himself coming off his 7 million dollor Yaught to do a interview to tell how broke he is. It made me feel so sorry for him. These owners who did great or had a great idea and made a ton of money in something else thinking they can run a baseball team. George Steinbrenner was a built in excuse. Maybe they failed because they had no clue what what they were doing and surrounded themselves by people who didn't know the game like they thought or because they were good at just taking but not good at giving back to the business.
