No it doesnt and you are wrong about carbon credits being dead even if your right about global warming ( which I dont think you are) there are still plenty of cities that are requiring the auditing and reporting of their foot print and the only way to operate within the guidelines set is through the purchase of them. I dont really think Globally it pertains as much as locally anyway most polluters are lumped together anyway for geographical reasons and availability of natural resources and that will never change I bet anyone here can guess these cities in the US and even easier in Asia
