You should really take the time to read the patent. Its actually quite fascinating. It has something to do with the combination of oil-loving microbes and the system by which they are kept fed and dormant until they contact oil and "go to work".
Our competitor in that article doesn't appear to have that. I mean come now, they openly admit they are throwing trash and diapers into boom forms. There aren't many barrier to entry with that business model. Now, will MOP deliver the goods or not? That is the question.
