Back about mid-Dec, friend's computer got hit with
"Smart-Secutirty:, hi-jack. I asked and received help here, thank you.

Well, she just got tel. bill; almost hundred dollars distance calling to UK caused,then, by clicking on to something that connected to UK. Called number supplied by sbc. Was collection agent called USBI.. wouldn't (maybe didn't know) tell me who charge was for.. said to check computer history log. (its programmed to clear after 20 days).. Anyway, when informed USBI that would refuse to pay, she cancelled charge... "as a one time curtesy service" lol.

Had never before heard of internet connections that use such a method to collect money.

Anyone else have any like story?
