I learned a valuable lesson today :
If you want something really bad don't give up.
I went looking for Ramses from 1:30PM to 9:15PM.
I had many cars driving in a 5 mile radius checking every street.
Some people said he went this way, others said that way...so I did not know what to think.
After the sun went down, we went ahead and printed hundreds of flyers with a substantial $ reward and photos of Ramses.
By some calculated miracle (you will understand why), I handed a flyer to a drunk guy walking out the gas station while I was hanging a big sign right outside, he looked like a lost cause but why not...I gave him the flyer anyways.
2 minutes later I get a phone call, he handed the flier to someone who lived close and that person said "this man right next to me said he has a Doberman hanging around in his backyard"
The fella was about 80+ years old, he had the bright idea of locking his gate after the dog went inside, he lived on the same street I kept looking on for over 3 hours.
Ramses is here now, he is right next to me, I thought I was going to have the worst day in my life...look how things turned out.
I kept looking from 1:30PM to 9:30PM, 8 hours of no food, no water, nonstop searching, and here he is now.
Never give up...I was crushed, could barely think proper, Ramses is not just a pet, he is therapeutic to me, his presence is extremely important, what I felt today, I never felt before
I am going to take a long shower, and I am going to tie him to the sink.
Thanks for the txts you guys.
What a day...
Y
