"You gotta have seasons" Yeah, I used to say that to but after a few years you can't go back to those cold winters. I have 2 young kids and my son is in outdoor sports all year round and winter is great down here.. 60's, 70's for the most part. You can BBQ, have outdoor parties, swim, etc. during the winter. Doesn't get boring. Sure I like spring and fall up north but living in the sun and fun all year round is where its at for me. Maybe when the kids grow up things will change.. South FL isn't a place where the old people go to die anymore, its a full blown out family area now! Thousands of family houses still going up.. The old people are moving to the west coast of FL now I thing.. Still quiet over there................. for now
