Laranger--Nokia had to claim that they were afraid of being sued by IDCC in order to get into federal court and bring their lawsuit for declaratory judgment against the patents. How valid a fear that was and whether Nokia meets the requirements to be in federal court will be left up to our lawyers to review and then try to dismiss the case if they believe that Nokia does not qualify to be in federal court.
