I am not in direct contact with MVTG, so I do not know for sure, but I got the impression 3M was simply involved in the reactor membrane optimization process with their proprietary membranes, not in an attempted take over. Did I miss something there?

Great news! One market advantage we have over CABN is the formic acid is typically used to make ester polymer plastics, permanently fixating the CO2, where CABN is making fuel, that eventual goes back to CO2.

Formic acid may have a higher value than gasoline as well.
