Update from the City of Gulf Breeze, FL

The City of Gulf Breeze is monitoring the oil spill situation. Date: 06/25/10. There seems to be a large amount of oil outside the Pensacola Pass, we expect the City to be on high alert for the next 72 hours. The City is constantly monitoring and evaluating tides, winds and the prospect for impact. The bayous will be closed starting around 8:00 am, June 24th and will remain closed until to threat of oil passes.
