I definetly felt it here in Ottawa. Happened 61 km from here. Our office tower was swaying and bystanders outside saw the windows buckling. They evacuated most of the offices downtown. Thought I'd beat the rush hour traffic home today but guess everyone had the same idea. Had to actually sneak back into my building to get to my car that was parked in the underground parking. Just heard rumor that part of the roof in one of our malls colasped. Lots of buildings remaining evacuated until emergency crews deem the buildings safe to re-enter. Haven't heard of any other damage. Pretty wild. Been in one other earthquake a number of years back but first time in a building that started to sway back and forth. Pretty freaky. Pricless seeing some of the looks of peoples faces while the building was swaying. Thought I was staring at some deer. LOL. Our office is 20 floors tall.
Time to get coffee... or maybe a drink.
