No, not really. At the time, the shareholders had an attorney and that attorney did everything he could to prevent the sale. At the end of the day, the judge felt that it was in the company's best interest to at least get something for the license, otherwise it would most likely be lost (just like the Niprisan license was). I believe the old saying, "a bird in the hand..." was even used. There was a milestone date quickly approaching that it was felt Xechem couldn't meet, which would put the license in jeopardy, so the judge decided that $325,000 at the time was the best the company was going to do and he allowed it.
