Charlie, I dont think large scale changes in people will enhance safety, quite the opposite. Same with this rig shut down. The rigs will be less safe than when they shut down.
It is not just shore base. Everyone is being looked at. I hope they remember it was the highly educated grads at BP who caused this tragedy and mess.
