Options are not warrants.
Correct. But warrants are options. And when they are out of the money, they are worthless. Because no matter how high the stock goes, the intrinsic value of those warrants will always be less than the value of the stock itself.
A warrant only has value when it has a strike higher than the current share price at the time the warrant is issued. It's just basic math.
And math is the same all over the world.
