Brickman, I admire your passion, but alluding to smurf, who could be seen as one of the "good guys", as an a$$ is detrimental. It's bad enough that we have to be subjected to the ulterior motives and (not so) hidden agendas of others. I don't see why we can't work as individuals or groups.

Which reminds me, if you haven't signed the petition, please do so now. I would like to get at least 250 real signatures before I begin Phase II. I will also start contacting some people this week to bring more exposure to MOPN/MOP. I have some "out of the box" ideas as well, but will not discuss/detail them in this open forum - sorry.

One of my buddies, who participated in the "pile-on" Friday afternoon, contacted an old fraternity brother of his, who works at the EPA, and this is the info he relayed to me:
Like all .gov agencies, they are getting swamped with information from both academics and nutjobs, regarding real solutions and "snake oil" cleanup salesmen. He seems to think that they will throw most everything out, and only work with companies that are already in their system and have already been certified.

That's great news for MOPN, as:

The EPA has reviewed MOP® and has found it complies with Title 40 CFR of the National Contingency Plan for any oil spill on land or water.

MOPN on EPA certification

Specifically, Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Sections 300.5 & 300.915(g)

Have a great Sunday, folks!
