I was reviewing your excellent post and decided to look for some more associations. When I looked up SETECS, I decided to check on management. Low and behold I turned up(SSP Litronics). I'm sure Wave is on a first name basis with John G. McWilliams, III. It seems that Wave is in the loop!!:

"SETECS develops advanced internet security technologies for Web services, collaborative environments, and mobile network applications, including java crypto platforms, identification management systems, and PKI systems and technologies. All SETECS products are modular, interoperable, and based on international standards.

With the benefit of several years of intensive research and development, as well as participation in pilot programs with NSA, DOD, SSA, and NOAA, SETECS technologies are market tested and ready for immediate deployment."
